Is the Laser Lipo safe?

Absolutely! Laser Lipo treatments are completely non-invasive and our clients experience no pain. We use a low-level laser technology that has been used over 30 years for several biomedical purposes including wound healing, pain relief and the treatment of inflammation. It is even approved by the FDA!

What can I expect during a Laser Lipo treatment?

Our Clients relax in a private comfortable laying down position, our technician will securely place 2-10 laser paddles on your target area(s) such as hips, tummy, arms or thighs for 15 minutes.

Will I feel any pain of discomfort?

No, in fact, most of our clients fall asleep, it's that relaxing! Since this is a low-level laser your most likely not to feel anything at all!

How quickly will I see results?

Most of our clients will see measurable results after their first 1-3 treatments. Results do vary, however, a standard treatment protocol consists of 3-6,  20-30 minute sessions done over 8 weeks. Best results are achieved when our Laser Lipo clients perform a cardio exercise for 10 minutes immediately after their treatments and drink plenty of water right after the session to help flush out the lipolysis (melted fatty tissue).

Why is water such a vital part of my treatment?

Without the extra water, it will be more difficult for your body to eliminate the contents released from the treatment. Give your body the help it needs to carry away the toxins lipolysis (melted fatty tissue).

Why do I need to exercise?

Exercising is important to increase fluid movement throughout the body so that the newly released lipolysis (melted fatty tissue) can be burned as an energy source. After each treatment, we encourage a 10-minute cardio activity to improve and expedite your results. It is recommended that a healthy diet is implemented during your curse of Laser Lipo Therapy.

When should I eat or drink prior to my treatment?

We recommend not to eat 1-2 hrs before your treatment and in addition, no food, caffeinated, high fructose corn sugary or carbonated beverages should be ingested for 1-2 hours after your treatments – BUT drink plenty of water, however. Note, water should be consumed moderately prior to treatment while plenty of water is recommended following the treatment. The goal simply is to have the Laser Lipo affect existing fatty tissue and help the body to process the fats that were released during the session. Any new caloric intake will reduce the effectiveness of this process. So allowing the body to burn the released fats will work towards gaining optimum results from your treatments.

**Please refrain from any Body Lotions, Body Oils, Vaseline or any other body products before your treatment. (To include Perfume, Cologne and Body sprays). Such products can cause skin irritation during your session.  Please wear or bring comfortable walking shoes for after your session as you will be asked to go on a short power walk :-) to flush out the toxins you just drained out of your cells! Clothing should be comfortable, example yoga pants or workout shorts,  but this is not necessary as often our clients come straight from work.

What happens as the laser hits the fatty tissue?

The laser disrupts the external membrane of the fat cell, inducing lipolysis. Sort of like melting butter in a Microwave. The content of such cells is being released into your Lymphatic System.
What IS released during treatments?

Triglycerides: Water, Glycerol, and Free Fatty Acids.

Where do the free fatty acids go?

Once the Free Fatty Acids leave the cell they get absorbed by the lymphatic system. Additionally, when combined with oxygen, Free Fatty Acids produce energy.

Where does glycerol go?

Glycerol diffuses widely and rapidly throughout the total body water, passes through the blood stream and appears in the urine. Additionally, Glycerol is converted by the liver into a useful energy source - Glucose.

Are there any contraindications or harmful side effects?

No. Low Laser Therapy is Non-Invasive however the laser should never be projected directly into the eyes. General precautions for the use of lasers should always be considered before using the Laser Lipo laser.

**A physician should be consulted if the client is dealing with:
Pregnancy, Epilepsy, Immunosuppressive disorders, Thyroid Gland Dysfunction, Uncontrolled Hypertension, Pacemakers, Cancer, Heart Disease or Cardiac Arrhythmias, Liver or Kidney Disorders.
